BBQ Slow Cooker Ribs

Ingredients:

2 racks baby back pork ribs

1 cup apple sauce
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup SCS Apple Rub
8 oz SCS Apple Finishing Sauce
1 large onion, diced
1 apple cored and sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
Preparation:
Cut ribs into small sections and line the bottom and sides of slow cooker with them.
Place sliced apples on top of the ribs.
In a blender or food processor, combine apple sauce, maple syrup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, SCS Apple Rub and SCS Apple Finishing Sauce, along with onion and garlic. Pulse until smooth.
Pour sauce (except reserve 1/2 cup for later) over ribs and put lid on slow cooker.
Cook on high 3-4 hours or in low 6-8 hours until ribs are cooked through and tender. (Slow cooker times may vary)
Remove ribs from the slow cooker to a serving plate and brush with reserved sauce.
ENJOY!
Try this with other flavors too! Cherries, peaches, blueberries,  and pineapples would all work beautifully!
